Enameled porcelain figurine. “Young couple”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. The girl is seated, with a basket of flowers in her hand and a garland at the bottom of her dress. A handsome gentleman is leaning towards her next to her. The two doves joining their beaks are what provide the theme of the figurine. The theme, the high quality of the enamelling and the colours used, and the fineness of the gestures and shapes, clearly show the influence of the old porcelain from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).
