Enameled porcelain figurine. “Shepherd pair”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. The scene is set in a highly idealised natural setting, as is normal in this type of bucolic compositions highly appreciated in art since the 18th century. A ram, a basket of flowers and a birdcage complete the composition, in which the protagonists appear dressed in the fashion of the upper class of the late 18th century. The figure is inspired by works produced by the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). Weight: 1.5 kg
