Cupid playing the drum. Biscuit, bronze. 20th century. Biscuit figure placed on a gilded bronze base decorated with architectural and plant elements in a classicist style, showing a half-naked Cupid wearing a tricorn hat and playing a hollow drum. It has an incised mark on the base. This type of figure was common in European factories from the 18th century onwards, showing the god of love from classical mythology in disguise and in different attitudes. Weight: 0.373 kg.
