Bureau desk. Carved oak. 19th-20th centuries. A sample desk with three drawers at the front, featuring slightly curved legs and a carving in the centre of the front of the piece of furniture based on simple plant elements and mouldings with curves and counter-curves, inspired by Rococo. This style also influences the shape of the front of the piece of furniture, especially in the area of the two drawers and the lower part of them. When the top is lowered, a central recess with a horizontal board and two stepped drawers with a recess above on each side of this central area are revealed. The piece of furniture is reminiscent of French examples inspired by the Louis XV style and created in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
