Wooden shelving with bars and a shelf decorated with mouldings above and below and two bands on the sides with curves and counter-curves drawn on the outside of the furniture. Designed for use in silver shops, it has simple decorative elements to enhance both the wood it is made of and the pieces on display.

Bronze sculpture. “Musketeer with a jug”. Lost wax casting. Marble base. On the rectangular base stands the figure of the Musketeer, seated with a jug at his feet and holding a jug in his hand. The emblem on his chest, the sword at his side and the hat are the details that clearly show his identity. This type of figure was very common in France, since the body was responsible for escorting the monarch since its creation in 1622.

Bird bath made of metal, consisting of an elaborate openwork base decorated with plant and architectural elements reminiscent of the Middle Ages, a base with discs and a spiral shaft, and a shell-shaped top on which two pieces in the shape of perched birds are placed. Stylistically, it is reminiscent of examples from the 19th century.

Table lamp with pillar and recessed lampshade. A square base supports the pillar that forms the base. The truncated pyramidal lampshade made of mottled yellow glass is embedded with a highly elaborate decoration based on plant motifs, scrolls and volutes.

Bronze sculpture, “Cupid”. Lost wax casting. Marble base. The god of love from classical mythology is distinguished by the quiver of arrows on his back and by the butterfly-like wings rather than the feathered ones, the most common attribute. This theme was very common in French bronzes of the 19th century (remember, for example, those of the Moreau family).

Monk's armchair. Carved wood, textile. Spain, 20th century. Also called an “armchair”, this type of seat was very common in Spain despite its Italian origin. The typology was introduced in the 16th century, and remained a common feature of Spanish furniture during the following centuries, becoming really popular in the 19th and 20th centuries when pieces influenced by past styles became fashionable. It has a backrest and seat upholstered in red fabric, with studs, and carved decorations on the arms, backrest, waist and jambs. It is reminiscent of outstanding examples such as several from the 19th century preserved in the Lázaro Galdiano Museum in Madrid, etc. Several units available.

Landscape. Oil on canvas. DEL VAL TROUILLHET, Mercedes (Valladolid, 1926-2012). Signed (lower right area). Mercedes del Val Trouillhet was a painter from Valladolid who began her training at a very young age (her first lessons at the age of seven, directed in Madrid by her teacher Timoteo Pérez Rubio). After the Civil War, she went on to study with the great draughtsman and poster artist José Picó Mitjans (1904-1991). From the beginning of her career she dealt with the subject of landscape, especially Castilian, and showed her work in various exhibitions (Valladolid in 1947, later Madrid, Córdoba, etc.). She also received several awards (Silver Medal at the XXIX Autumn Salon in Madrid in 1957...) and her painting is preserved in various private collections and in institutions such as the Museum of the University of Valladolid.

Mine or ship telephone, HF model, type ST-1. Second half of the 20th century. Telephone for use in a mine or on a ship and to be attached to a wall or vertical surface consisting of a metal box to protect the machinery and the handset, which is attached to one side of the box, with the cord or cable emerging from below (next to the line socket); on the other side is the usual crank in the model. These types of pieces were made with certain materials and shapes, prioritising their usefulness and resistance but without completely forgetting an aesthetic aspect that can be appreciated in the lines of the box, etc. and which is appreciated today.

Rectangular box placed on four pulleys or wheels to move it, covered on the outside with metal, decorated with a series of genre scenes enhanced by bands of plant motifs. Saint Thomas of Villanueva. Painted glass. 18th century. It has faults. Painted glass with a simple wooden frame showing Saint Thomas of Villanueva (with his name written in the lower area). A saint of the Order of Saint Augustine, he became archbishop of Valencia by order of a superior, because he always refused. He was canonized in 1658, and is also considered the first saint to come out of the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
