Girl writing on a fence. Lithograph. 20th century, following models by BRUNDAGE, Frances. Frances Isabelle (Lockwood) Brundage (United States of America, 1854-1937), was an illustrator greatly appreciated for her endearing children's illustrations on postcards, valentines, calendars, etc., which were published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, Samuel Gabriel Company and Saalfield Publishing, and several children's classics (novels by Louisa May Alcott, Johanna Spyri, the story of Robin Hood, etc.). This work is inspired by a Valentine's card published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, and it was so well received that postcards inspired by it were even published in Spain.

Candlestick in patinated bronze. The circular base is decorated with mouldings and grooves, the latter element being repeated on the barrel, which has been shaped like a circular stem, and the vase that serves as a base for the candles. The brown patina of the bronze is reminiscent of stone, and the decorative elements of the candlesticks (strings of pearls, etc.) are inspired by classical antiquity, while maintaining very elegant clean lines. Coloured and framed engraving depicting a garland of flowers, fruits and ribbons enhanced by a fine frame of plant elements. To the right of the image we can read “Rafaello inv / Edizioni Ponte Vecchio” and “Volpato scul. Edit PV5” (the latter on two stamps). The work is based on 18th-century engravings by Giovanni Volpato (1733-1803) and Raffaelo Sanzio Morghen (1758-1833), published by Edizioni Ponte Vecchio, which contain images of Raphael Sanzio’s frescoes in the Vatican Loggia (Rome, Italy).

Wrought iron latch. 20th century, following baroque models. A wrought iron latch or door fitting made up of a flat part with edges cut out in the shape of balustrades and plants, and another part attached to it to close it (this part has a decoration of lines on the top, which draws a scroll, and relief elements on the body of the latch). The shape, decoration and material follow common models in the Spanish Baroque school.

Candlestick in patinated bronze. A single-light candlestick with a circular base, a cylindrical barrel and a candle holder in the shape of a classic vase. The entire surface is decorated with mouldings separated by straight bands with various geometric elements which, on the stem, are repeated symmetrically with respect to the middle of the stem. The bronze finish, which resembles ceramic in colour, is particularly noteworthy. Weight 1095 gr.
