Child. Carved and polychrome wood. 17th century. Polychrome wooden carving showing a half-naked child, accompanied by a cloth fluttering in the wind that partially covers him, and standing with a marked contrapposto, a movement softened by the position of the hands and the expression of the face, with the head bowed. It is possible that it is a sculpture of the Child Jesus, given the similarity it presents with sculptural groups or painted scenes made up of various characters (more of the Child with Saint John than of the Holy Family) of the Baroque.
