Enameled porcelain figurine. “Saleswoman with hen and eggs”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). The young woman, dressed in blue and with her hair covered with a striking red cloth, is carrying a hen and a basket of eggs. At her feet, another bird enlivens the composition, while the base, worked in relief with rocailles, provides some movement and allows the work to be related to European examples of 18th century porcelain (especially from Sèvres) together with the elegance of the forms and the detail of the painting.
