Still Life with Fruit. Oil on canvas. Spanish School, 19th century. Still life of assorted fruits placed on a simple horizontal surface, accompanied by a light-colored vase of flowers and two other ceramic pieces toward the right of the composition. The work is clearly inspired by 17th-century Baroque still lifes from the Spanish school, not the sober ones (Zurbarán), but rather those created when the influence of Flemish still lifes began to penetrate (much more complex and full of details, figures, etc.).
