Enameled porcelain vase with interior scene. Inspired by Sèvres models The interplay of tones between the enamel of the vase and the gold appliqués gives all the prominence to the two scenes on its fronts. These show two interiors of a house belonging to a wealthy bourgeois family in the manner in which these works were made at the beginning of the 19th century. The classicist elements that decorate the work relate it to works of the same century from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).

Vase. Cobalt blue porcelain and gilt bronze. Cobalt blue glazed porcelain vase with gold-embossed details and a figurative theme in the centre of the piece, which has been highlighted with gilt bronze appliqués in the form of handles, finial, pieces and base, all decorated with motifs with a marked classicist influence. The inspiration of the Sévres Factory (France) is clear in the work, both in the tone of the porcelain (cobalt blue) and in the gold details, the figurative scene (a concert in an interior with a marked Rococo feel) and the decorative motifs (plant scrolls, figurative elements, garlands, details reminiscent of 18th-century Rococo, etc.), showing an important relationship with mainly 19th-century French models.

Vase in glazed and hand-painted porcelain. Inspired by 19th century models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). The vase, with profiles inspired by Antiquity, is decorated with elements of the same origin: grotesques on the handles, vegetal scrolls, putti, lion heads, mirrors, scrolls, dolphins, an allegory of Abundance on the upper part, etc. Two scenes have been hand painted on the front: the Rape of Europa and Vulcan giving Venus the weapons of Aeneas. The work is inspired by 19th century Neoclassical models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).

Hand-painted enamelled porcelain vase. Inspired by Neoclassical models from the Meissen and Sèvres factories. Porcelain and bronze applications. The vase shows marked influences from classical antiquity both in its lines and in its decoration based on vegetal scrolls, garlands, strings of pearls, etc. Two scenes have been hand painted on the fronts: a Toilette and a couple of lovers, both in idealized landscapes. This type of work was highly appreciated in Europe, hence similar vases were made in the main porcelain factories. This case has many similarities with productions from Sèvres and Meissen.

Turquoise blue vase with hand-painted scene. “Venus and Anchises”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). The vase has two handles with vine leaves and bunches of grapes and decorative elements rooted in classicism. It has been highlighted by a base with four legs in the form of scrolls and shows plant elements in relief. The hand-painted scene on its front shows Venus with her lover Anchises, the union from which Aeneas was born, one of the main characters of the Trojan War and considered the ancestor of Romulus and Remus. The work is inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).

Planter on a pedestal. Porcelain. The flowerpot, with a circular section, has a wavy edge outlined in gold and a garland and a scene painted on each side: both are idealised bucolic landscapes in which a series of characters inspired by classicism appear. The pedestal, with a circular section, resembles a smooth-shafted column flanked above and below by capitals and placed on feline legs, and on its front there is a pictorial decoration of the same type as those already mentioned. The work was inspired by models of 19th-century Neoclassicism.

Set of seven enamelled porcelain figurines. “Soldiers”. Inspired by 19th century European porcelain models. Each of the figures in this set features the uniform characteristic of a military unit, clearly showing the change in uniformity that took place at the beginning of the 19th century. Already in the time of Napoleon Bonaparte, the main European porcelain factories (Meissen, Sèvres, Capodimonte, etc.) created numerous figurines with the characteristic uniforms of each nation. Vase with religious scenes. Glazed porcelain. A tall vase with a circular base and a flower-shaped mouth, made of glazed porcelain, with a blue background and gilded elements of clear classical inspiration, an influence that is also present in the small handles of the vase. On each of the fronts of the piece there is a scene: on one side, a scene inspired by the so-called Madonna del Prado or Madonna del Prado by Raphael Sanzio, with Mary, the Child Jesus and Saint John; on the other, a painting of Saint Agnes following the model made by Domenico Domeniquino Zampieri around 1620, which is kept in the Royal Collection in London.
