Euphonium in gold metal. Non-functional decorative use. Also called euphonium, it is a brass wind instrument with a conical tube and three pistons invented by Ferdinand Sommer of Weimar in 1843, Carl Moritz in 1838 or Adolphe Sax in 1843. It is not very well known or used because it is not orchestral (except for its appearance as soloist in bands), but its shapes make this instrument a magnificent decorative element.

Enameled porcelain figurine. “Children playing”. A crossbar has been placed on a tree stump to act as a rocking chair. Three small children are playing on it, with a young girl sitting at one end in charge. The delicacy of the modelling, the colours used, the magnificent enamelling and the inconsequential and highly idealised subject matter put the work in relation to creations from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).

Enameled porcelain figurine. “Two young people with swans”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). The two swans are placed at a lower level than the two young women, and are separated from them by a trunk with flowers. The idealisation of the scene is reminiscent of 18th-century European porcelain models, and the colours and composition are what relate the work to creations from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. It is worth highlighting the high quality of the figure, which can be seen in details such as the perfection of the modelling and the magnificent enamelling.
