Bookends in patinated bronze. “Trumpeting elephant”. Inspired by models by Ary Bitter (1883-1960). Lost wax casting. The elephant is supported on a base that extends in an L shape, with its back against the vertical crossbar and only three legs supported. It raises its trunk to trumpet, giving the impression that it is pushing hard. It is inspired by models by Ary Bitter, a French designer, painter and sculptor highly appreciated for his animal sculptures. Weight: 3.45 kg
